This 5-Frame, NUC includes:
- A 2025 freshly bred queen
- 4 frames full of worker bees
- 2 1/2 frames of brood
- Sufficient honey and pollen stores
Pickup in a portable white plastic, custom Nuc box with ventilation holes
2025 - 5 frame SHF Nuc price:
$215 ea, for 1 to 4 Nucs
$200 ea, for 5 or more Nucs
$190 ea, for 10 or more Nucs
$40 (non-refundable) deposit is required, on each Nuc you reserve… Reserve as many as you need.
PICKUP ZONES:
We have scheduled NUC PICKUPS for 2025 have been set for a Friday and Saturday [TBD]. We will ensure your Queen is strong and all Nucs are ready for their trip home.
NOTE: The 2 - Day Pickups will be the only opportunity to pickup Nuc's... so be sure to block your calendars and make arrangements to pick them up at one of these times.
Remember, best to Pickup at SUNRISE or SUNSET on these two days.

PRODUCT INFO
Nucs, or nucleus colonies, are small honey bee colonies created from larger colonies. The term refers both to the smaller size box and the colony of honeybees within it. The name is derived from the fact that a nuc hive is centered on a queen, the nucleus of the honey bee colony.

Sierra Honey Farm provides its Customer's a 100% satisfaction guarantee, ensuring all will receive a strong Nuc with healthy queen and bees. In addition, Beeman Thomas will provide free consulting services periodically, for all clients providing tips on how to care, grow and produce honey. Extensive consultative services can be negotiated upon request.
